Wpf binding not updating

Unless you are constantly checking every UI element and monitoring the output window for binding errors, you will not always catch that you have a data binding problem.

Now add the converter to your problematic data binding.I can simply fire the event and worse case scenario, I execute an empty function body rather than throwing a Null Reference Exception. With the INotify Propety Changed in place, changing one Text Box will cause its twin to display the same value and same for the two Combo Boxes. This is tidier in my opinion than the if(Property Changed ! We get a strange new requirement that every second change should be ignored. The Text Boxes always remain synchronized – reverting back to the previous value if the change is ignored.Unfortunately the changed Combo Boxes becomes unsynchronized with the view model if the view model ignores a change. You can change either Text Box as many times as you want.
